Rousseau, Christian, Anthony Cooper, and more...

Danielle Rousseau was one of the most exciting characters to emerge from Lost's first season.  Her unpredictability paired with her tragic history on the island also made her one of the best supporting characters throughout the series history.  In Lost (1954) she will be portrayed by Katharine Hepburn.

Christian Shephard is a very important character.  His estranged relationship with his son, his alcohol addiction, his disgraced medical career, and then his moments of being a wise elder to both Jack and other survivors whether it be in a bar or as an island apparition; all make Thomas Mitchell, who so often plays drunken and helpless men with a lifetimes of advice to give out, the perfect Christian Shephard.

Anthony Cooper the conniving malevolent con man who betrays his own son Locke, and causes the deaths of Sawyers parents, needs to able to come across as cold, callous yet audacious in his actions and attitude.  Charles Bickford is Anthony Cooper.

Ethan Rom, the first Other the survivors encounter when he infiltrates there camp, pretends to be one of them then kidnaps Claire and Charlie.  The perfect actor for the sadistic Rom, is Anthony Perkins.

Seth Norris (Pilot): appears in only then first episode before getting killed by the smoke monster.  This would be a cool opportunity to have another big name guest star for one episode and get the audience to think he'll be a regular character, ideally for the pilot, I would choose Gary Cooper.

Artz, the snarky high school science teacher.  Another great possibility for a cameo appearance before he gets blown up in the season 1 finale, after only appearing in one episode prior to it.  I think Cary Grant would be great in that one-off role, and it would be funny to see him get exploded.

Helen Norwood, Locke's girlfriend in flashbacks.  Claire Trevor would good for this role, she has some of the same nurturing qualities as Katey Sagal.

Tom Brennan, Kate's childhood sweetheart, has a very innocent quality about him, that Harry Carey Jr. would portray excellently.

Susan Lloyd, Walt's mother and Michael's ex girlfriend.  Maureen O'Hara would be perfect to play opposite Wayne as his former lover.

Cassidy Phillips, Sawyer's forlorned former love interest. Marilyn Monroe.

Mr. Paik, Sun's father, Edward G. Robinson.

Randy Nations, Locke's young supervisor, Lee Marvin.
The Guy with a rash, as seen in season 1, episode 9:Walter Brennan

U.S. Marshall: Joseph Cotten.
